The Christmas Eve Wishes blanket was designed back in 2021, for my grandchildren’s Christmas Eve boxes. It’s a fun and cosy blanket that lends itself to making lots of happy Christmas memories. It’s easier to make than it looks!
This kit is yarn only, with no pattern included and contains all the yarn you need to make your very own blanket. There are four different colour ways to choose from, consisting of:
Stylecraft Special DK (100g/295m balls) in the following colours and quantities:
Original Red/ Green colour way
Meadow x2
Lipstick x3
Cream x3
Stone x1
Blue colour way
Cloud x2
Denim x3
White x3
Parchment x1
Pink colour way
Silver x2
Pale Rose x3
Cream x2
Stone x1
Red/Grey colour way
Graphite x2
Poppy x3

The pattern is suitable for confident beginners, as the whole blanket is made up of simple
stitches and repeated elements. It includes detailed step by step photo tutorials as well as
accompanying videos, so you won’t be left to figure any of it out on your own.
A few things to know before you make your blanket:
• The finished blanket measures 100cm by 120cm.
• As well as the yarn and pattern, you will need: 4.5mm and 4mm crochet hooks, a
yarn needle, scissors, 1m of ribbon for the gingerbread people’s bows (alternatively
you could crochet these), and a pom-pom maker or cardboard for creating your pom-
poms. None of these items are included in the yarn pack.
