Easter Moments Crochet Blanket Pattern and Makealong
I’m really happy to finally share Easter Moments, a new crochet blanket pattern and the newest design in my seasonal blanket series. This one has been quietly in the works for a couple of years, and so many of you have requested this pattern!
If you’ve made Christmas Eve Wishes or Halloween Dreams, this crochet blanket will feel familiar in the best way. It uses the same relaxed, rhythmic style of crochet, designed to be enjoyable to work on and easy to pick up again if life gets busy.
About the design
Easter Moments is a striped crochet blanket pattern worked in soft, mixed stitch stripes. It includes simple tapestry crochet to create clean colour changes as you go. There are no squares and no joining, so you can simply keep working row by row and watch the blanket grow.
The pattern is written to be approachable and reassuring. It’s suitable for confident beginners, and relaxed enough for more experienced crocheters who want something steady and enjoyable on the hook. Throughout the pattern, you’ll find detailed photo tutorials, guiding you step by step through the stitches and colour changes so you’re never left guessing.
The colours are gentle and spring-like without feeling overly seasonal, making this a crochet blanket pattern that works just as well beyond Easter as it does during it.
Yarn list
I know many of you like to get your yarn organised ahead of a pattern release so you can start straight away. If that’s you, here’s what you’ll need for the Easter Moments crochet blanket.
I have used Stylecraft Special DK.
You’ll need:
2 x White
2 x Wisteria
1 x Fondant
1 x Candyfloss
1 x Soft Peach
1 x Lemon
1 x Tea Green
1 x Stone
Optional: 2m ribbon for bunny bows (I used 15mm yellow polka dot ribbon)
Hooks:

4.5mm
Having your yarn ready in advance means you can start the blanket as soon as the pattern is released 🥳
Pattern release date
The Easter Moments crochet blanket pattern PDF will be available on Thursday 5th February.
The pattern will be released as downloadable PDFs in separate UK and US terms versions. It will also be available as a printed booklet in UK terms with US conversions, available from your Stylecraft stockist.
The pattern includes clear written instructions alongside step-by-step photo support throughout. I’ll share links to buy once it’s live.
You can find the design on Ravelry here.
A New Stylecraft Makealong
Aaaand…I am delighted to say that Easter Moments will be a Stylecraft Makealong in their wonderfully friendly and supportive Facebook Group. Isn’t that eggciting?? The makealong will begin on Tuesday 17th February, so plenty of time to make your blanket before Easter. You can join the group here.
Thank you, as always, for the warmth and enthusiasm you bring to my work. I hope this crochet blanket brings you a few quiet, enjoyable hours of making.
