I made my first version of this blanket in 2014. I was still quite new to crochet at the time and completely obsessed with Granny stripes. Not much has changed since then! This blanket is still one of my favourite things I have ever made. It’s as much of a joy to make as it is to sit wrapped up in it. My original version is still going strong and is a much-loved member of the family.
This kit is yarn only, with no pattern included. The pattern is free and you can find it on my blog here.

The pattern is completely beginner friendly with detailed picture tutorials included in the pattern. All you need is some knowledge of basic stitches.
This yarn kit contains all the yarn you need to make your very own blanket. It consists of:
Stylecraft Special DK (100g/295m balls) in the following colours and quantities:
Parchment x7
Pistachio x1
Spice x1
Pomegranate x1
Burgundy x1
Clematis x1
Raspberry x1
Bluebell x1
Meadow x1
Khaki x1
A few things to know before you make your blanket:
• The finished blanket measures 175/185cm by 120cm (depending on the border chosen, there are two border options in the pattern).
• As well as the yarn and pattern, you will need: a 4mm crochet hook, a yarn needle and scissors
• The pattern contains a detailed granny stripe tutorial, as well as special stitch instructions.
